Weekend of running on the BCR

Over the weekend the BCR was running for the public alongside the heritage cube exhibition. All the running was done with two locos, Wren and Koppel and was a big success. Here's some photo's of the weekend.

SATURDAY

Wren departs the station with clouds of steam.

Picking up speed.

Entering the station.

A view of the two locos that we had in steam.
Koppel and Wren.

Meanwhile in the exhibition the BCR had its own stand
and was very popular with visitors.

The ticket stand where vistors got their tickets.

This photo is actually a accident. How I got the blur effect beats me but shows Koppel at speed (not really at speed) approaching the bridge.

Koppel being prepared to depart the station.

Gathering speed.

Wren sits patiently on the loop in the station waiting to take charge of the train.

SUNDAY

Sunday was the better of the two days. Carrying 312 passenger proves that!
Wren approaches the level crossing.

Slowing down for water.

Koppel is turned on the turntable at dipwood halt.

Koppel departs dipwood halt.

Not all of our visitors are human! A grey squirrel helps its self to some bread.
remember we are running on the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th of September. lots of visiting engines are coming and we will have our own model engineering exhibition. So why not come down to the BCR and experience the magic of steam.
